Hope your 2022 has gotten off to a great start. I hope all of you have been working on all kinds of crafty goodness since I've been away. I have been dabbling on projects here and there, sharing creations over on Instagram. But I really miss sharing with my friends on this platform, so I decided to come by here to post my first creations of the year, a couple of New Year's cards. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhBuLXnZDM-HEfN1_6_SCR7Rpk2iw_2t7t8XH1VzY4jp-0266X8oXXv7vOk_hxdhVJ7I3M0wp9ygqoGlPmmyIjm4AqHC-Ze2p5dvGnY85e8MTLHiiZP6RJk0dxSXIQL3_2OSFREcuGSp4nKCRj8Y3F8JZ_jhk-NDPqjTf9mcHHiek6zQ5UAXtLVO0Th=s3050" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2264" data-original-width="3050" height="448" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhBuLXnZDM-HEfN1_6_SCR7Rpk2iw_2t7t8XH1VzY4jp-0266X8oXXv7vOk_hxdhVJ7I3M0wp9ygqoGlPmmyIjm4AqHC-Ze2p5dvGnY85e8MTLHiiZP6RJk0dxSXIQL3_2OSFREcuGSp4nKCRj8Y3F8JZ_jhk-NDPqjTf9mcHHiek6zQ5UAXtLVO0Th=w604-h448" width="604" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I'm sure many have seen this image. She is called <a href="https://www.unitystampco.com/new-year-girl/" target="_blank">"New Year Girl"</a> from Unity Stamps' Angie Girl collection. She's a pretty versatile image and can be used for all kinds of celebrations. The beautiful "celebrate" die is from MFT, cut with gold mirrored cardstock. Finally, they wouldn't be New Year's cards without a little extra shimmer, so I sprinkled on some sequins from Studio Katia. I really like how they turned out. Did you make any New Years cards? Or have you made your first 2022 creation? Post in the comments below. I'd love to see your creations. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Thank you for stopping by...And That's All She Wrote</div>NC Peachhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05718862894405366890noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-303017106041702657.post-72999837969448404412016-07-06T22:00:00.000-04:002016-07-06T23:35:32.712-04:00It's been a minute...<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Since I stopped by this space! Life has been at a breakneck pace, between changes in my job and in my family in the last year. However, I still love creating, reading craft blogs and interacting with other creatives on social media. So I want to work with this forum again. If you have followed this blog or visited, even once I thank you for your support over the years, and I hope you'll continue to stop by. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Now, onto today's project..If you're a member of Scraps of Color, you've seen the card. But I'm giving you the inside peek of the whole project!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjL2fJjRr_tXAZY4gDHSWlDG4jIyYD6sj_DXops_NldIgHeidhess-f8f6NRsnPNnSD20gtdYpt2jOiZB4g9ilcnvW8i1_Dx4n7LYr3oLRsnaMvZFv1Hjy7tE0EFOsIeLxwCNubUPCp4Og/s1600/cardframeset.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjL2fJjRr_tXAZY4gDHSWlDG4jIyYD6sj_DXops_NldIgHeidhess-f8f6NRsnPNnSD20gtdYpt2jOiZB4g9ilcnvW8i1_Dx4n7LYr3oLRsnaMvZFv1Hjy7tE0EFOsIeLxwCNubUPCp4Og/s640/cardframeset.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This altered frame and card set was one I made for a friend's mother. She wanted to give her husband a special gift for their anniversary. Other than a frame from The Dollar Store, all of the bling and paper were from Michaels' Recollections line. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzazhm7vh0xpxkjKKwIRMno9Vb0nARPjttKoxwDdjWCVTuGk_HmGc14uSTETergq9yvB9jRdxEIwh1FNUAGuI2Kk5Xfn-cvuAgi3dyw18HL01SwLpHLidBpgFYtWUC6WsHEwbeEkWdHo0/s1600/wedcard.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzazhm7vh0xpxkjKKwIRMno9Vb0nARPjttKoxwDdjWCVTuGk_HmGc14uSTETergq9yvB9jRdxEIwh1FNUAGuI2Kk5Xfn-cvuAgi3dyw18HL01SwLpHLidBpgFYtWUC6WsHEwbeEkWdHo0/s400/wedcard.png" width="306" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Once the frame was done, pulling papers from the same paper pack and copic colors for a matching card kept the process easy. This gatefold card is 5x7 (or about the size of a A7). The image was an easy choice for me, Lil Marriage by <a href="http://fineartsbyrobertjackson.com/special-occasions.html" target="_blank">Robert Jackson</a>. It's amazing to me, as this image reminds me of the celebrating couple! Here's a peek of the inside:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Well, that's all I have for you today. But for I go, I have to say how great it feels to share with you again. I really hope to come back soon, and hope you will too! </div>

Hi everyone! I wanted to stop by and share a card I made for a client. She wanted a birthday card for her mom. I have to admit it was a personal challenge for me because my room is a hot mess right now! I'm not one of those crafters with a place for everything and everything in its place yet. The struggle has been real lately, lol! But believe it or not, it simplified the process! I had to find patterned paper that matched the few colors I have in my copic collection. Then I played with the first pink embellishments I came across, and this was the final result:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_zXJqbL62mddJtVx_i6Nh2ZS5Ccah_q_GK2vqdIthTVNR84imW7yjMgJ03SRkYfJ9jyUj_UALD9ZfSFrtp72Bt6TYhUsrQuB9jzcG5N03Wpl5H82I-7Kaa5G-2W2M2_9dPVHCDwfzgPs/s1600/churchlady.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_zXJqbL62mddJtVx_i6Nh2ZS5Ccah_q_GK2vqdIthTVNR84imW7yjMgJ03SRkYfJ9jyUj_UALD9ZfSFrtp72Bt6TYhUsrQuB9jzcG5N03Wpl5H82I-7Kaa5G-2W2M2_9dPVHCDwfzgPs/s400/churchlady.png" width="317" /></a></div>
<br />
The stamp is a digital from <a href="http://maruvadq.com/shop1/" target="_blank">Maruva DQ, Inc,</a> and the bling and flowers were both from Michaels. I've never used bling this way, but I really like it! In fact, I will definitely be on the look out for more of this bling on my next shopping trip! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!</div>

It really is hard to believe we're in the last two months of the year...Halloween was just a couple of days ago, but based on all of the holiday stuff practically bursting out into the aisles in the stores, you'd think Christmas is next week! And yet again, I'm getting a late start on my holiday projects. But more on that in a future post. Today I wanted to share my first pocket letters--one I made for a crafty pal, and one I received totally by surprise!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMK9W-Bhd5dbIznXwHcCJghzkh-oW4VgHPcyBiCwASCIz0YjRKE17T-SAxrNwt3IDQH8jf4O4jvRTi5ovnhmgtK70ROBdza-89aFURQQD9XcyzEedFTBMKWScu-6VmeNV4sL_migbyZQw/s1600/untitled.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMK9W-Bhd5dbIznXwHcCJghzkh-oW4VgHPcyBiCwASCIz0YjRKE17T-SAxrNwt3IDQH8jf4O4jvRTi5ovnhmgtK70ROBdza-89aFURQQD9XcyzEedFTBMKWScu-6VmeNV4sL_migbyZQw/s400/untitled.png" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
I made this one for a someone I met on the Pocket Letter Pals Facebook Group. My partner wanted to be surprised, but I was totally stumped for ideas. I'm crazy about Betty Boop, and soon figured she would be a great theme to try for my first one. As you can see, I filled some of the pockets on the front, but here's a pic of more goodies on the back:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHzFmONWGfaydED7tG70sf0RpPrL97qYEqgTlB2_4WIpQEHg-fyfI6BdYTBiTPspNW2YDykDPXFcWIYktijdunV4mzXv9OWlTR3w-lEJNYVuJZLy9aLwDE0xoYorFba4Oc-CTOJx4J0Zw/s1600/IMG_1451%255B1%255D.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHzFmONWGfaydED7tG70sf0RpPrL97qYEqgTlB2_4WIpQEHg-fyfI6BdYTBiTPspNW2YDykDPXFcWIYktijdunV4mzXv9OWlTR3w-lEJNYVuJZLy9aLwDE0xoYorFba4Oc-CTOJx4J0Zw/s320/IMG_1451%255B1%255D.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
A couple of the pockets have stamped images that aren't visible here. I added some "Mail Tag" questions and I just had to add some Peach flavored green tea! Now to the crafty goodness I received a little while back:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM-vMKmq6iflBzabmgtRM1R9GQoiS1qpB_-Tgm6xG8W4SIPzSAarQS4Xlm2IGUMsd79El9bThGoZgLnLO1_kF0K6FQ3vk6KFI96tIq1ehfUorX49hAM3FIiQklm0EfbB6rxLTfMORAkb0/s1600/IMG_1462%255B1%255D.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM-vMKmq6iflBzabmgtRM1R9GQoiS1qpB_-Tgm6xG8W4SIPzSAarQS4Xlm2IGUMsd79El9bThGoZgLnLO1_kF0K6FQ3vk6KFI96tIq1ehfUorX49hAM3FIiQklm0EfbB6rxLTfMORAkb0/s320/IMG_1462%255B1%255D.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="http://afrocentriccreations.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Mary Joyce</a> sent me this awesome puppy-themed pocket letter! She created it using the title and images from one of my Pinterest boards. One of the things I admire so much about MJ's creations is that she puts so much personalized detail into each one! Here's another view:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi89Rmlp0DMW3ZyGbed0_iaskRRjr_SqI-WI8XxLH5iE5fFLfVPRXmONewvlGiRq3pYxCUwaRQz0mEur4L-i04FQdOGyWQRxgBoJ_Xfy5G_T9zRJfiIzOOvrSWpc2t1UexnTr1Afu1jMmM/s1600/IMG_1464%255B1%255D.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi89Rmlp0DMW3ZyGbed0_iaskRRjr_SqI-WI8XxLH5iE5fFLfVPRXmONewvlGiRq3pYxCUwaRQz0mEur4L-i04FQdOGyWQRxgBoJ_Xfy5G_T9zRJfiIzOOvrSWpc2t1UexnTr1Afu1jMmM/s320/IMG_1464%255B1%255D.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I don't need another obsession, but I think I have been bitten by the pocket letter bug! I'm currently working on two more for a couple of my crafty peeps! I'll share them once I finish them up and send them out. So what about you? Have you tried pocket letters, and love them? Or are they a little much for you? Please share in the comments below. Thanks for the company, and have a great day!</div>

Hi everyone! I'm checking in with another customer card. The image is one I've wanted to work with for quite some time now, Sorority III by <a href="http://fineartsbyrobertjackson.com/" target="_blank">Robert Jackson</a>. All materials were Michaels/Recollections products, except for the Wink of Luna in silver used on Ms. Zeta's shoes. I still have a lot of work to do on improving folds and light source, but I really enjoyed making this card! I am sharing it over on Scraps of Color for the "Anything Goes" Bloggers Challenge. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!</div>

Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday! Today I'm back to share a couple of customer cards I created recently. They were both made using <a href="http://fineartsbyrobertjackson.com/" target="_blank">Robert Jackson's</a> Lil Nurse image.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The first one was for the customer's sister that happens to be a registered nurse. The patterned paper for both cards were from Recollections. And that bow was a scrap piece from my stash. I was sweating bullets about the size of that bow though, lol...but it coordinated with the rest of the card really well. And luckily, my client loved it! =D</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhU_tLKyAZvnc2SirE9Puoi4KH0zTi_R7Tu0eXuX1E4kb-3PUGVwrJyEtT46uuA-iMRL0NT4hHkMTS76OpXu4nebOdeO3kehK9oaWXJviRxnF7PXbc7aVeOXGF42F_Ot2YRX0OOdN-rFL8/s1600/IMG_1357%255B1%255D.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhU_tLKyAZvnc2SirE9Puoi4KH0zTi_R7Tu0eXuX1E4kb-3PUGVwrJyEtT46uuA-iMRL0NT4hHkMTS76OpXu4nebOdeO3kehK9oaWXJviRxnF7PXbc7aVeOXGF42F_Ot2YRX0OOdN-rFL8/s320/IMG_1357%255B1%255D.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
She wanted the same image on this card, but since the recipient is a dental hygienist, she didn't want the nurse's cap. So I tried a little "coloring magic," turning the hat into extra hair. And I felt a lot better about the ribbon on this card, also from my stash. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Graduation season has come and gone around here, so today I wanted to share a card I made for my coworker's niece.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It's my first time using these both the image and the embossing template. The image is CC Designs Graduation Willow, which I believe is now discontinued. I tried capturing the "sheen" highlights with my blue copic markers, but I wish I had worked more on blending the color. However, I still liked how it turned out. The Darice embossing plate is one I purchased from CKC-Charlotte last year.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm sharing this in the <a href="http://scrapsofcolorespire.blogspot.com/2015/06/soc-blogger-challenge-im-impressed.html" target="_blank">"I'm Impressed" Embossing Challenge</a> going on over on the Scraps of Color blog right now, as well as the Anything Goes challenge over on <a href="http://memascrafts.blogspot.com/2015/06/memas-online-store-click-here-final.html" target="_blank">Mema's Crafts</a>. It's Lesia's very last craft challenge, as she needs to focus on other things at this time. She will continue to post on her blog though, so be sure to stop by and leave Lesia some love! <div style="text-align: left;">
Hello everyone! In my last post, I mentioned that although I tinkered around with a few things, I hadn't been that crafty. However, I had one big exception to that statement...my diaper cakes! I have really been blessed this Spring with a few requests. Here's a look:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">I call this one "Pretty in Pink"</span></td></tr>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I really enjoyed working with the soft colors on this cake! And, I finally got the chance to use those tiny baby bracelets from the Dollar Tree again (I used them before <a href="http://onecraftyncpeach.blogspot.com/2014/01/new-years-greetings-and-few-diaper.html" target="_blank">here</a>). If you get the chance to make a diaper cake, check out your local Dollar Store. There are lots of wonderful goodies there to accent your cakes.

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
Finally, this cake is my favorite this year so far. It's a Michael Jordan cake! Complete with baby's first Jordans and Mike's #23, made with t-shirt numbers from Hancock Fabrics.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I really enjoyed sharing these cakes with you today! I hope to have more to share by the end of the Summer. Thank you for stopping by! Take care...And That's All She Wrote!</div>

I couldn't resist y'all! I didn't want to get sucked into yet another series, but the onscreen chemistry between Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson has always been amazing. The first season didn't disappoint, and I was glued for the whole season! I'm excited to hear it's coming back in the fall, but I'm going through <span style="background-color: white;">withdrawal already</span>, lol.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
participated in Kathy Rascoosin's 30 Day Coloring Challenge. I haven't been really crafty lately, but I still feel like I was with this! The premise of this challenge was to make time to color something everyday for 30 days. I used it as a great chance to practice with my copics. but crafters used watercolors, distress inks, and all kinds of coloring mediums. Many of my colored images weren't for any pending projects, although I hope to use them soon.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you'd like to join in on this, Kathy started a brand new round of the challenge at the beginning of this month. Just check out this post on her blog, <a href="http://www.thedailymarker.com/2015/05/the-30-day-coloring-challenge-coupon-code/" target="_blank">The Daily Marker</a> for details. But I suggest checking out the #thedailymarker30day2 hashtag over on Instagram for inspiration in one place. It's a lot of fun see all of the color creations.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<ul>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Finally, since my last post, I discovered pocket letters! OMGoodness, I'm sure you have seen these all over the place! But if you haven't, they are a new form of pen pals and sending happy mail to someone special. Janette Lane created the pocket letter trend (here's a <a href="https://youtu.be/S4h1RwAaomI?list=PLx3uYt5I-haBSQmzF9ad06a-la2wMCmv1" target="_blank">video</a> on how to put one together), and now there are pocket letter groups popping up all over social media! I created my first one recently, and will share it once I can get it in the mail to by swap partner.</div>
</li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Well, that's what I've been up to since I last posted here, lol...So let's catch up. I'd love to hear about your happenings-crafty or otherwise-in the comments below. </div>

Hey everyone! It's been quite some time! Hope you're doing well! I've been away from crafting for a little while, but I really want to get back into the swing of things. A few years ago, I created some Super Bowl <a href="http://onecraftyncpeach.blogspot.com/2011/02/super-card-challenge.html" target="_blank">cards</a> using the colors from that year's teams. So with the big game this past weekend, and Meljen's Design's Team Spirit challenge, I figured I would give it a try!. Here's a look:<br />
<div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4s9zWoVDKYV090EtSDyQDDBwzfCtKugB8JEwvGBCKvswDjRpQMxXFMkl9xc2HTKxUAi82YoMmh9UOqCla3uZt_VIv-Ln_vpLMRgZtfmywMOZ3GDblbjfgxQT68WO1K6Dwa-ofM5XiVdE/s1600/IMG_1369%5B1%5D.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4s9zWoVDKYV090EtSDyQDDBwzfCtKugB8JEwvGBCKvswDjRpQMxXFMkl9xc2HTKxUAi82YoMmh9UOqCla3uZt_VIv-Ln_vpLMRgZtfmywMOZ3GDblbjfgxQT68WO1K6Dwa-ofM5XiVdE/s1600/IMG_1369%5B1%5D.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;">This card is inspired by colors for the Seattle Seahawks, and the sketch I used was from the <a href="http://fusioncardchallenge.blogspot.com/2015/01/january-29-heartful.html" target="_blank">Fusion Card Challenge.</a></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;">To be completely honest, I was going to only create the first card...I just figured the Seahawks would win again...or so I hoped. I shared my coloring in progress with friends on Facebook and Instagram and everything. However, as you know, the Patriots ended up coming back and winning the game...(Sigh) So I figured it was only fair to create a second card using New England's colors. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;">I thought this little bear was adorable, and even though he's wearing colors for the "other" team, I really like this one. The sketch is from a cool blog I just found called <a href="http://alwaysplayingwithpaper.blogspot.com/2015/02/the-challenge-24.html" target="_blank">The Challenge</a>. Here's a peek at the sketch:</span></div>

In addition to the challenges posted above, and my personal Super Bowl theme, I'm sharing it for the <a href="http://scrapsofcolor.ning.com/" target="_blank">Scraps of Color</a> Anything Goes blogger challenge. It was great getting that card-making mojo working once more! As I mentioned in my original post, its cool working with different color combos. So if you find yourself stumped, just pull out colors from your favorite team and go for it! You never know, lol...Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!</div>

The image is from a Google Search. Isn't he a cutie? I used my dotted embossing template to look like the surface of a golf ball, and the patterned paper is from my stash. This is only my second masculine card, but I really had fun creating it! I'll share the other one later in the week.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Congratulations MJ!! I will send your gift card out real soon!</div>

<br />
Hey readers! It's Friday and it's time to get "Turnt Up!" <a href="http://scrapsofcolor.ning.com/" target="_blank">Scraps of Color</a> is turning 10, and we're celebrating this milestone with a birthday blog hop! I have been a member of this great online community for almost five years now. I have learned so much from this awesome group of crafters, and have even had the pleasure of meeting some of them in person! I'm just so grateful for the online and real life friendships I have found through this group.<br />
<br />
If you're starting here, visit the<a href="http://scrapsofcolorespire.blogspot.com/" target="_blank"> SOC Blog</a> first to start from the beginning! However, if you hopped over here from Debra's blog, then you're in the right place! For the celebration, I really wanted to turn it up a notch, and try something different...at least for me. So today, I'm sharing my first box card!<br />

Hi everyone! Happy September!! I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend! Having that extra day off made a world of difference--went to a cookout, a street festival downtown, had a little more time to hang out with family, plus get a little extra sleep! I tell you, I wish every weekend could be like this one.<br />

We met at our local scrapbook store over ten years ago, and have been friends every since! We chat about everything from crafty stuff to everyday happenings. So when I saw this stamp from Unity, I had to get it and make her something special. This tag was so fun to make, and I really hope she likes it! Hopefully it also inspires you to make something for your sister or the special friends in your life. Thanks for stopping by,<br />

Hi everyone! Hope you've had a great weekend! I wanted to stop in with a quick post to share a 50th birthday card I made for a coworker/friend recently. She had a friend who was celebrating this milestone, and wanted to give her a custom card. We went through a few images, but she really liked this digital image named Ebony by Robert Jackson. You can't see it in the picture, but I used gold Stickles to give some sparkle to the earring. I'm still working on my coloring technique, but I loved coloring this image. So I'm sure you'll see this one again really soon! Thank you for stopping by and have a great week!</div>

Graduation season has come and gone, but I could make graduation cards year round! They are near the top of the list of occasions I love to create for! These were a couple of cards I made a little while ago to give to some of my graduating friends.<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

This one was for a young lady who graduated elementary school this year. Actually, I have tutored her for the last couple of years, and I was so proud of the work she put in this past year, I wanted to create something special for her.<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

I made my next card for a good friend that graduated with her masters! I wasn't with her on graduation day, but I'm sure she shouted just like the little lady in this stamp! She captures so much of my friend's personality!<br />

I'll let you in on a little secret...the bear's scarf is really a dress for the baby to wear someday! My co-worker initially purchased the dress for the bear to wear, but it's a 4T--way too big for Ms. Diva Bear. But hubby had the idea for her to wear it as a scarf, perfect for a bear on the go! Thanks sweetie... =)</div>

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a simple card I created as part of a "sentiment-ready" card swap recently. Basically, the cards were made up so you can add the sentiment later. You may have seen a pic of this project in progress on my Instagram a little while ago, so today I'm sharing the final result.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJHKejmS4IGcn5QoP4O6HeqL-q7YFeDPZuH8jiiS1uNI1mrhQIUqZUMJSRid0tbxJNQVHpHvB5otgtignHaKja886lJ1M6oRECctVtzbCr5ESdN3J-Usu7aAQiSMr_D_E0DDqDtTzpXG0/s1600/IMG_1343%5B1%5D.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJHKejmS4IGcn5QoP4O6HeqL-q7YFeDPZuH8jiiS1uNI1mrhQIUqZUMJSRid0tbxJNQVHpHvB5otgtignHaKja886lJ1M6oRECctVtzbCr5ESdN3J-Usu7aAQiSMr_D_E0DDqDtTzpXG0/s1600/IMG_1343%5B1%5D.jpg" height="400" width="347" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Stamp: Sweet and Sassy, Die: Spellbinders<br />Paper: Recollections</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
If the image looks familiar, it's one I've used a couple of times! (See what I mean...<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7w4RATJKqxIzKnZKjd8axfnfQrcPJtetJ8ERr2-5hMvBj3a-M4Liaj8KZFIyolwV1up5YaPgSYqsjBO9NvfH-J88kIkXkdZng8QIYnx4dUl-m8GrQObvaSVWfca-D0THSxY9riQHnMiM/s400/tulip+card.jpg" target="_blank">here</a> and <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh99EZlBG4x32QXp1-rpkuhKEzd72nNggLW5h37JjFnzmS8HtQsH83lD21Q8A58UZXhhyphenhyphenIjfNQctFb4vMLDguk06SWkYJXV-h1yI5GIaMoQWRl0ajVssCA76a4gjp9Q2eFKMohkQCMQvCk/s400/IMG_1311%5B1%5D+(2).JPG" target="_blank">here</a>) This time I wanted to color it up with watercolor pencils. I'm not sure what sentiment I'll use yet, but with this and the other cards I received from the swap, I'll be ready at a moment's notice. So to you card makers, do you make cards as you need them, or do you make bunches, then add the sentiments later? I make them as I need them, but really want to get better...so I could use the advice, lol. Tell me about your process in the comments below.</div>

Hey everyone! I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend! I spent the weekend here at home, cleaning out my garage! It wasn't pretty, but I'm just about done and it looks SO much better! Then we spent Monday grilling and hanging out with my in-laws. Today I want to share a mini I created awhile ago. The recipient wanted an all-purple mini. She loves purple as much as<a href="http://onecraftyncpeach.blogspot.com/2012/10/a-passion-for-purple.html" target="_blank"> I do</a>! So here's a look at the album and some of the pages:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNWHzzk5dZkedbY5vRaaCZx4i2Yh3IO7D312QOfXgpPcbotzo-2Ka3isQTxIgQtPmyP-Awrgo6u-_MB9PyMbFKW-sShZsyhD2x2bS7KL3qmMVF5m5TjV59_DrEc9Hc-JoDzjVmu37AKu0/s1600/IMG_1288%5B1%5D.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNWHzzk5dZkedbY5vRaaCZx4i2Yh3IO7D312QOfXgpPcbotzo-2Ka3isQTxIgQtPmyP-Awrgo6u-_MB9PyMbFKW-sShZsyhD2x2bS7KL3qmMVF5m5TjV59_DrEc9Hc-JoDzjVmu37AKu0/s1600/IMG_1288%5B1%5D.jpg" height="278" width="400" /></a></div>
The paper was some I was <strike>hoarding</strike> saving in my stash, the bling and the big flower were from Recollections, and the tiny flowers are some of those Prima petals I'm sure everyone has in their flower collection.<br />

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I posted, but I wanted to stop by to share my latest mini album project! Remember<a href="http://www.onecraftyncpeach.blogspot.com/2013/11/a-mini-for-momma.html" target="_blank"> this </a>mini I made a few months ago? Well, the lady really loved the album and wanted me to make one to surprise her husband for their 34th wedding anniversary. I really loved how it turned out, and wanted to show you the cover and some of the pages!<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm excited because this is my first time using digi paper!! Her wedding colors were mint green and white, something like a Tiffany blue so I did a Google search. I found this paper on Etsy. The bling is from Recollections, and the flower is one from Prima that I had in my stash! Initially I thought about just using the flourish on the bottom, but I thought it was missing something! I played around with more from the same pack, and really liked it! I guess the saying is true...there's never too much bling, lol</div>

I'm entering this in last week's Anything Goes blogger challenge over on SOC! It was really great sharing with you again! Have a blessed day!</div>

(You can also see her </span><a href="http://onecraftyncpeach.blogspot.com/2012/10/mimi-for-breast-cancer-awareness.html" style="font-size: medium;" target="_blank">here</a><span style="font-size: small;"> and </span><a href="http://www.onecraftyncpeach.blogspot.com/2012/06/girly-cards.html" style="font-size: medium;" target="_blank">here</a><span style="font-size: small;">.) I had planned to use a cute digital image for this card, but I realized </span><b style="font-size: medium;">after</b><span style="font-size: small;"> we got snowed in that I didn't have ink for my printer! I tell ya, the best laid plans...so Mimi agreed to stand in at the last moment, lol. Her signature red dress was a paper piecing fitted over the original image.</span></div>

The inspiration behind this card was in celebration of February which is also Women's<span style="color: red;"> Heart</span> Health Month. In fact, every February 7th ladies are encouraged to wear <span style="color: red;">red</span> to bring attention to heart disease, which is the number one killer in women. You can read more about National Red Day <a href="https://www.goredforwomen.org/wearredday/about/" target="_blank">here</a>. So whether you're celebrating with that someone special or with family, I hope you will take time out to celebrate and treat yourself! More importantly, take care of yourself so you can be the best you can be for those closest to your<span style="color: red;"> heart</span>!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Before I go, I got some candy...no, not chocolates, although that does sound good right now. I have some <b>blog candy!! </b> I normally have a nice picture of my goodies, but with the storm coming I didn't have a chance to run out and get anything. But I still want to share the <span style="color: red;">love</span>...so one lucky reader will win a $15 gift certificate to <a href="http://want2scrap.com/store/" target="_blank">Want2Scrap</a>.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Hi everyone! I hope you're having a great Friday! I'm doing pretty well now that the snow is melting and things are getting back to normal! I love to see falling snow, but I got a little cabin fever after being in for a couple of days! If you're from the north, I don't know how you all do it! Anyway, since Groundhog's Day is quickly approaching, I wanted to share a couple of <a href="http://onecraftyncpeach.blogspot.com/2013/02/two-cards-one-stamp-and-some-cool-news.html" target="_blank">cards</a> I made last year...But, I decided to feature these cards for my first Flashback Friday post! You can read the back story <a href="http://onecraftyncpeach.blogspot.com/2012/01/chinese-new-year-cards.html" target="_blank">here</a>. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Speaking of Chinese New Year, there is a Taste of the Orient blogger's challenge over on the <a href="http://scrapsofcolorespire.blogspot.com/2014/01/soc-bloggers-challenge-taste-of-orient.html" target="_blank">SOC E:spire blog</a> this week. So if this project or the challenge has inspired you to create something for the Chinese New Year, stop on over and share a link to your project! And if you come over from this blog, stop by and say hi! There's a really cool chick (who's name is also Cheryl--can you imagine that, lol) that has started posting over there from time to time, and would love the company! Well, that's all I have today, but I hope you all have a great weekend! </div>

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to continue what has kind of become an annual tradition here on ...And That's All She Wrote--a look back at my personal favorite projects over the last year. But to be honest with you, I was reluctant about posting this. 2013 wasn't my most productive year creatively. However, I realize that all artists have "valleys" to some degree, but the important thing is to learn from it and work to come back strong! So although it's a shorter list, here's a look back at my favorites in 2013:<br />

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a great Christmas and 2014 is getting off to a spectacular start for you! Christmas was nice, since hubby was actually had his first one off in YEARS!! Normally I would be reluctant to get my hopes up because his schedule would change at the last minute! We even had a quiet New Year's Eve at home...<br />

This diaper cake cutie is one of my overall favorites! I've never made one this small! I really loved working with the baby-themed accents, which my client selected from The Dollar Store! I will be stopping by to scoop up some more soon!</div>

Hi readers! Today I wanted to share a mini album project I made recently. My friend Camilla wanted to surprise her mother with something different for her birthday and asked me to put one together. Camilla's mom loves pastel colors, so I was able to pull lots of oldies but goodies from my stash. Anna Griffin, K and Company, and Chatterbox to name a few. Here's a closer look at the pages:<br />
