Don't Adjust Your Screens...

No, I didn't have a furious craft storm race through my house...at least not this time, lol. I was asked to work on craft projects with some of the youth from my church (ranging from third to sixth graders) last Saturday. The younger ones played in the nursery, while the older ones participated in a writing workshop in preparation for an oratorical contest held here locally. We painted picture frames (love those AC Moore picture frames) and accented them with foam shapes I had in my stash. Here's a pic of the finished creations:

Aren't they cute? These kids weren't playing...they put a lot of thought into their craft decisions. As you can see, the colors of choice were the pinks and purples (kids after my own heart, lol), but they went crazy when they saw the green come out the bag! What colors we didn't have allowed us to play around with mixing...

They loved the mixing!! LOL

I had so much fun with the kids!! What a great way to spend a Saturday and use some extras out of the craft stash! That's all I have for today, so thanks for dropping by...and That's All She Wrote!
