Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! I'm sure that you're all gearing up for a day of fellowship, fun, and a little food with family! So I wanted to pop in with this quick post of my card for Thanksgiving. It's one I made for a Holiday challenge over on Scraps of Color. We were challenged to make a Thanksgiving themed project. Also, there is a challenge going over on Mema's blog. She is hosting a Criss Cross Card Color Challenge this month using fall colors. Thanksgiving? Fall colors? Learning a new card style? Yep, had to try this one, and I love how it turned out! Here's a view when you pull out the insert:
I used more stamps from the Hero Arts Season of Giving set, using the same leaves from the card front. I loved making this card, and plan on making some Christmas themed ones very soon! If you'd like to try one, check out Mema's tutorial. To enter her challenge, you have until November 30th. Just check out her blog post here for details. Well, that's all I have for now, but come back to see me soon okay? In the meantime, I wish you the Happiest of Thanksgivings with your family and those you hold dear! Oh, and don't eat TOO much turkey, lol. Take care!
...And That's All She Wrote!
