Chinese New Year Cards

Patterned Paper: Over the Moon Press, EK Sucess

The first card is an easel card...something new for me! I'm not 100% happy with that gold paper in the fan, but I think it'll be okay. I embossed the background and used pop dots to make the fan stand out. Using my cricut, I made the flower at 1 inch and set it on pop dots too. Here's a closer look at the card:

Cricut Cart: Pagoda, Embossing folder: Provocraft
Stamp: Our Daily Bread Designs

The second card was stamped and embossed with the sentiment and topped off with some ribbon that's been laying around in my stash for the longest. I love the charm...it was part of a set from Michaels. I didn't realize it had dragons on one side, the feature animal for the Chinese New Year.

I've always wanted to make cards to commemorate this event, so they were fun to make! Thanks for dropping by for a peek! Come back to see me soon!! Have a great day!
