Hi everyone! Welcome to the ModPodge Designs Celebrating Spring Card Blog Hop! Our wonderful & crafty ladies have created some beautiful spring cards to inspire you. If you're starting here, visit the ModPodge Design Scraps blog first to start from the beginning. However, if you're stopping by from the talented Yvonne's blog, then you're in the right place! Today I am sharing two cards. Even though Spring is still a few weeks away, making these cards has made me excited about warmer weather, getting outside a little more, and pulling out those spring dresses for church. So onto the cards...
And before you ask...yes, I was in a purple mood, lol. Here's a closer look:

Patterned Paper: Doodlebug, Die: Spellbinders
Copics, Stickles
This bunny card came together pretty quickly. The image is Fluffy Bunny from Meljen's Designs. I really enjoyed coloring him even though capturing "softness" in fur is still a challenge. After my coloring was done, I added some stickles to his bow for a little shine! (I haven't added a sentiment yet, but it may end up being "Easter Greetings" or "Happy Easter." I'm trying to keep my options open, lol...)

Patterned paper: Recollections, Die: Spellbinders, Copics
With this card, I wanted somewhat of a monochromatic look. The image and sentiment from this card is named Spring Tulip from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps. Pop dots were added behind the Spellbinders die to add some extra dimension.(If you follow my blog, don't be surprised if you see this image again this Spring! It's really versatile and I can see using it for Mother's Day, Get Well, or Just Because...)
Well, those are my cards, but before you go I have a confession to make...normally I have goodies to give away as blog candy, but I seriously ran out of time to get to the store to find a prize. BUT...I decided to do something different that I think you'll like! Digi stamps are my obsession one of my favorite things right now, so for one random reader who comments on THIS post will win a $10 gift certificate to Meljen's Designs! (However, if digi stamps aren't your thing, I will send a $10 gift card to Michaels instead.) All you have to do is leave a comment or share your favorite thing about Spring! I will be announcing my winner on Monday, March 11th. There will be goodies on the other blogs along the way, so be sure to check them out too! Here's a listing of all of the blogs:
