Coco Chanel Place Cards

Embossing Template: Provocraft, Embellies: Recollections

Hi everyone! Hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend! What did you do for the holiday? We didn't go out of town, so it was great catching up with friends, seeing a couple of movies, and simply not having to be on the run for a change! If a law was passed for mandatory three day weekends, I would not be hurt about it, lol...Today I wanted to share some place cards I made for a local event planning business.

The plan was to keep the design simple: Tiffany blue with bling--can't have Coco Chanel without bling! The double C's were first fused together before covering them.

Its funny how starting out with scrapbooking has branched out to so many different things for me!. It led to making and even selling cards from time to time, then to the diaper cakes. Whether you sell your creations or not, what did you start out doing in your papercrafting journey, and where has it led you? Like maybe you started out scrapbooking, and now you art journal too among other things. This may end up being a one time thing for me, but it was so much fun finding another area to work in creatively. Thanks for stopping by! Come back to visit soon!

Take care...And That's All She Wrote!

  3. Terrific job Cheryl! I love the bling and how it looks on the table. It's those little things at an event that really stand out. I too started with scrapbooking and from there I launched into making greeting card (which I love). I love making the keepsake boxes too. I had to start selling my cards to help fund my addiction ;)
