A Movie Review, DWTS, and Blog Under Construction...

Hi folks! Did you miss me? I thought I would have been back before now...so much going on. I wanted to have something crafty to post today, but I'm still trying to get some projects finished. Oh well, maybe next time...

Let's see, what DID I do this weekend?? I finally got the chance to see the movie Letters to God. I have wanted to see this one for so long. It's about a little boy fighting cancer who prays to God in the form of letters. He touches the lives of everyone around him, including the postman. Brady the postman, who is struggling with his regrets and past actions in his own life, becomes intrigued with the little boy's faith. Reading Tyler's letters transforms his life forever...I loved it, but I'm warning you...if you choose to check this movie out, its a tear jerker!! Let me know what you think.

So I just watched Dancing with the Stars tonight. Any fans out there?? I know some people think its a cheesy show and don't watch, but I LOVE it! I love the dancing, the colorful outfits and makeup, and the fantasy that I could try something like that one day (Uh, GULP...did I just put that out there??) Brandy is my personal favorite this season. She's doing really well, and I think she has a great chance of making it to the finals. I just hope there aren't any surprises--a la Rick Fox this week! They let him that good looking man go after he received his best score of the season last week!! That wasn't right, y'all {sniff, sniff, tear}...that just wasn't right!!...Okay, bringing it back now...I'll be back with a recap later in the week...

Well, before I sign off, I wanted to tell you that I'm deeming this site "A Blog Under Construction." I realize that I've got a lot to learn about setting up and maintaining a blog. But I guess that's what I get for starting one without really reading up on the basics...I am SO not a techie, and I usually delve into all kinds of "research" before doing something new. But I wanted to try something different this time and just step out there and go with 'da flow! I'm learning a lot now though, and I'm excited about making all kinds of changes.
