I am currently taking Shimelle's Blogging for Scrapbookers class! I first signed up for it back in November, shortly after starting this blog. I learned a great deal, even though I missed out on taking the class with other bloggers. Now Shimelle is running the class live again in preparation for her new class, Beyond Blogging, in a few weeks! I'm really excited about this!! Shimelle's blog is among my favorites for her writing and content, so I really wanted to get in there this time and "soak it all in," lol. I wanted to work and post the class "assignments" along with the other bloggers, but wouldn't ya know it (no surprise here) I 'm getting a late start. So I'm going to do my best to catch up on my BFS posts in the next few days.
The first prompt was to post my intentions for taking the class. This was kinda easy for me, as my intentions for the class are similar to my reasons for starting this blog: to challenge myself to create more (on a more frequent basis), and be more creative with those projects. I see blogging as a fun way to share my craft creations with friends, and as an opportunity to meet other people who love this form of creating as much as I do. I am grateful that I have been able to work towards all of these goals! Early on, I declared this blog as one under construction, and although I've learned a great deal, I know I still have a long way to go! So from Shimelle's class I hope I learn how to:

- write more meaningful blog posts
- share more of "myself" in those posts, and write them in my "voice" (still go back and forth with that one)
- Update with crafty content more often!!
The woman posted in the picture above is not the blogger...she is a depiction of the blogger in her mind. She imagines herself with perfect hair, wearing a black suit in front of her computer in the middle of the day...However in reality, most days you can find her hunched up in jeans and a flannel shirt late nights, lol...that is all!
That's all I have for today! Thanks for stopping by...And That's All She Wrote
